Youth WINS Coalition Members

The Youth WINS coalition supports the whole individual from work preparedness to food security, we offer a range of training and educational opportunities.

  • offers students in danger of dropping out a chance to make up their credits and earn a traditional high school diploma by providing them with a rigorous academic program, tutoring, supportive counseling services, career preparation trainings and paid internships. NYCID’s staff at the YABC is dedicated to supporting our students through graduation, helping them to develop the skills and tools needed to succeed both personally and professionally.

  • The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island’s programs serve the needs we see in our community and are constantly expanding to meet new demand. We serve people of all walks of life, from young children to seniors and everyone in between.   • AHRC New York City, a Chapter of The Arc New York, advocates for people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities to lead full and equitable lives.

  • The Green Launchpad accelerates decarbonization by empowering a more effective workforce system. We build the capacity of training & education organizations to better understand opportunities in the clean energy industry to ultimately help more jobseekers find their path in the field. We also advise and coalesce clean energy stakeholders (e.g., employers, funders, training organizations) to better connect with each other.

  • Nonprofit Staten Island is committed to building the capacity of Staten Island nonprofit leaders and strengthening our sector through communication, collaboration, and coalition building. Placing an emphasis on supporting Staten Island nonprofits in being forward-thinking, the organization has set to work on not just rebranding but strategizing the association and the ways it serves its membership and our borough’s communities.

  • House of Community (Bait-ul Jamaat) is a Community service organization established by Muslims. The community's needs are vast and require supportive services. Our mission is to provide food security and mental health awareness through the arts, various activities, programs, educational series, and advocacy support to underserved families borough-wide, starting right here in our base of Staten Island.

  • The Staten Island Community Partnership (SICP) is an initiative focused on strengthening families and improving outcomes for Staten Island residents. SICP works collaboratively with local leaders, service providers, and families to address challenges like child welfare, substance use, and access to resources. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, SICP empowers communities and promotes long-term, positive change.

  • Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden provides a vibrant, regional cultural destination that offers dynamic programming in arts, education, horticulture, agriculture, and recreation for diverse cultures and all ages while ensuring a well-managed campus for all residents of Staten Island and surrounding communities.

  • Partnerships for Community Wellness creates a healthier Staten Island by bringing together partners, stakeholders, and community members to address emerging health needs

  • The GACBE Community Advocacy Project, will help students to research, develop, hypothesize, execute, and reflect on action plans to change issues that impact their communities as well as encourage members of the community to join their efforts in creating change. GACBE provides educators, students, and community partners with the guidance, resources, and materials needed to collaborate and raise the child and the village together!oes here

  • A Chance In Life is an international nonprofit organization that supports at-risk youth through a Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach, helping them become confident, capable, and engaged members of their communities. Founded in 1945, the organization provides education, leadership training, and essential services to young people in underserved communities across the world

  • The College of Staten Island's Office of Workforce Development and Innovation delivers training programs designed to accommodate and support the educational and training goals of working professionals who seek to earn national and local certifications, strengthen their professional identity and expand their employment options. Taught by industry experts, our quality, flexible, cost-effective programs encompass a variety of fields, including healthcare, technology, social services, skilled trades, professional workshops, and entrepreneurship. Our Office is committed to empowering the borough's economic engine, one talented and driven individual at a time.

  • TREEAGE is a grassroots student-led climate advocacy organization dedicated to winning tangible, transformative climate action in New York. With thousands of high school and college student members, TREEage is building the next generation of leaders fighting for climate justice.

  • Forgotten Foods is an alternative educational, leadership, and organizing hub for young people in neighborhoods and street corners often overlooked on Staten Island. We offer paid internships and fellowships for local youth (ages 16–24) to activate them in transforming Staten

  • Urban Fairies of Staten Island Community Outreach (UFSI) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded on Juneteenth, 2020, to meet the urgent needs of families during the COVID-19 pandemic. We empower and uplift Staten Island families—especially those facing systemic inequities, poverty, and the family policing system—through essential resources, educational opportunities, and community support.

    Our programs include Community Baby Showers & The Mommy Closet, Free Market Pop-Ups, the Urban Fairies Dollars incentive program, and the STEP Program for girls and youth who identify as girls ages 5–18. We also run a no-cost Girl Scouts troop, the Newest Neighbor Program for newly arrived migrant families, Mom LiFing parenting and self-care sessions, and a free Laundry Program for parents with young children.

    Since our founding, UFSI has served thousands of families and continues to grow through strong partnerships and community-led initiatives. Our vision is to establish a one-stop community hub offering 24-hour childcare, essential goods, education, job training, and wraparound services so every family can thrive.
